Cancellation and Refund Policy / Terms and Conditions
Fees are payable upon registration. ‘Registration’ means a booking made with the Society online or by telephone. Please note that all cancellations must be made in writing, and all cancellations will incur a fee, however no charge will be incurred for substituting another person. Cancellations made up to 72 hours prior the event will receive a full refund minus a $10 administration fee. For cancellations made within 72 hours of the event, 50 per cent of the total cost will be retained as a cancellation fee. The balance will be refunded. If a registered attendee does not attend without notice, there will be no refund offered and 100 per cent of the total cost will be retained. The Law Society of Tasmania has the right to cancel or alter the event at its discretion. In such circumstances attendees will be notified via email. All registered participants affected by such a change will be contacted and offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available activity or receive a full refund.
If this particular educational activity is relevant to your immediate or lon g term needs in relation to your professional development and practise of the law, then you should claim one ‘point’ for each hour of attendance, refreshment breaks not included.
Participants who are not completely satisfied when attending a CPD activity are requested to provide feedback to the Society through evaluation forms provided at the end of the event or in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org
