Getting to know you – complete this survey
Help us get to know your industry association better so we can provide you with the products and tools most beneficial to you and your members.
We ask that you please take the time to complete this survey – it should take you 5-minutes at most.
Providing your responses will help AUSTRAC to understand the current view of you and your members AML/CTF knowledge and the best format for engagement and communications with AUSTRAC as we move toward and beyond reform.
Education update
Webinars
We have now delivered our AML/CTF Essentials webinar to over 5,700 attendees. AML/CTF Essentials is a four-part introductory webinar series designed to educate your members on the fundamentals of AML/CTF obligations, and provide the information they need to help meet their new obligations. These webinars are intended for those who are new to AML/CTF or wishing to refresh their basic knowledge.
AML/CTF Essentials is the first step in AUSTRAC’s education campaign. This initial series builds awareness and understanding ahead of the release of core guidance in October 2025.
The Industry Education & Outreach team is currently working on recordings of these webinars to be available to Tranche 2 entities as requested. To register for one of our webinars, please do so via the AUSTRAC website.
AUSTRAC CPD Policy
As you may be aware, AUSTRAC has been consulting with CPD issuers across a range of states/territories and sectors, and is exploring the eligibility of AUSTRAC’s education products for the accrual of CPD points. AUSTRAC has developed a draft CPD policy and accompanying consultation paper. If you would like to be part of this consultation (closing 29 August 2025), or know someone who would, please email Industry_Education_and_Outreach@austrac.gov.au.
Digital experience – ask your members to complete this survey
We’re asking for your help to share the AUSTRAC digital experience survey with your members. We are transforming the digital experience for users of AUSTRAC Online and seeking insights into digital readiness, organisation details, use of our online services, enrolment and reporting processes. These insights are really valuable and will help us deliver practical and sustainable improvements to our digital solutions. We’d appreciate if you can share the survey link with your members and ask them to complete it by Wednesday, 10 September.

Thank you to everyone who attended AUSTRAC’s fifth industry forum on Wednesday, 13 August. It featured important updates and insightful discussions.
Opportunities for change
Your constructive feedback throughout the forum was invaluable, as were the many innovative suggestions shared. We are currently liaising with relevant business areas to ensure that your ideas and concerns are given proper consideration.
We are exploring opportunities to further enhance our website, such as adding more detail to the calendar, including incorporating all educational activities and other relevant dates to better support you and your members. We are also considering ways to refine our content layout, such as separating education and guidance materials, to make it easier to find the information you need. We will make these changes as quickly as we can, and we appreciate your patience as we work through them.
