Daisy Kateros
Daisy was employed on a short-term contract to work on the Afghan client case load at Tasmanian Refugee Legal Service. Funds to support this work were received from Tasmanian Liberal Government to assist in TRLS’ response to the crisis. Daisy has been working to co-ordinate TRLS’ response to the crisis under the supervision of the TRLS Senior Staff.
Daisy is passionate about human rights, and it was this passion that led her into Refugee Law. Prior to being contracted as an employee of TRLS, Daisy completed her legal practice placement at TRLS and then volunteered with the Service for five months. She has also served on the Board of Citizen Tasmania, an arts and human rights organisation, as the Public Officer since 2019.
Daisy graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2020
