The Court has released copies of the new General Federal Law Practice Directions that will apply from 1 September 2025.
The new Practice Directions compliment the new General Federal Law Rules, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) (General Federal Law) Rules 2025, which commence on 1 September 2025.

The Practice and Procedure update also lists the consequential changes that have been made to court forms as a result of the new General Federal Law Rules. The new court forms will be published on the Court’s website following close of filing on 29 August 2025.
