Gregory Terry

Greg Terry has recently retired from practice after working as a lawyer with the Northwest Community Legal Centre in Devonport. He graduated in law from the University of Melbourne and subsequently was a Senior Lecturer in Law teaching International Law and Jurisprudence at Melbourne. He holds an MA degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, USA. He began his career in the Australian Foreign Service serving in Laos and Washington and was Principal Private Secretary to E G Whitlam QC MP.

He has practiced law with Holding Redlich in Melbourne, Perkins Coie in Seattle, Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong and the Ashurst affiliate in Jakarta. He has been admitted to practice law in Tasmania, Victoria, England and Wales, Hong Kong, and Washington State, USA and as a foreign legal adviser in Indonesia. Most recently he was a Komisaris at Panin Bank, the ANZ affiliate in Indonesia.
