Council AGM

Notification about the 2024 Law Society of Tasmania Council AGM have been distributed. The AGM is on Friday 11 October 2024 at 4pm.

Invitation to the profession to get along – the Society invites members to get along on Friday 11 October at 28 Murray Street from 4pm for the AGM followed by a networking opportunity with your colleagues.

Regional AGMs – The 2024 regional Southern, Northern and North-Western AGMs were held on Wednesday 2 October. To nominate, the applicant must be either a practising certificate holder, or an associate who is deemed to hold a practising certificate under the Legal Profession Act (2007). This year elections were held in the North-West and South, with counting taking place at the respective regional committee AGM on 2 October. A councillor’s term commences after the Council AGM on 11 October 2024.
