In Autumn, Society members are invited to submit expressions of interest to join one or more Society committees. Committee membership provides an opportunity to contribute to law reform and continuing professional development; consider issues affecting the profession; and connect with practitioners with similar interests. Read more about Society committees here.
Committee membership and functions are governed by a Committee Charter.
The Committee Term formally commences on 1 May for a two-year period, ending on 30 April. At the expiry of the second year members interested in remaining on a committee need to formally reapply.
Waiting list and vacancies
To express an interest in joining a Society committee outside the annual call for EOI period, please submit your EOI to the Society at any time using the online EOI Form. In this instance, you will receive an email stating that your application will be held for consideration should a vacancy arise during the committee year.
For further information on any of these committees, please contact the Society at info@lst.org.au.
