SUBJECT: 2026 APPROVED FORMS – PRELIMINARY NOTICE
The Recorder of Titles is continuing to implement clauses 9, 10 and 11 of the Recorder’s Directions by approving more new forms to:
- provide certifications on the face of the forms;
- provide for Signer(s) to sign the form; and
- remove current witnessing requirements.
Further forms to be approved are the Application by Personal Representative to be Registered Proprietor (S99), Transfer by way of Assent (TA), Partial Discharge of Mortgage (PDM), Lease (L) and Encumbrance (E).
There will be a transition period where the previously approved forms will still be accepted for lodgement. Dates of the applicable transition period for each approved form will be communicated in due course.
As forms are approved, the process provided for in section 169A of the Land Titles Act 1980 will be followed whereby notice is provided of: the forms being approved; and the date upon which they become effective. The remaining relevant forms will be approved incrementally.
