SUBJECT: ELECTRONIC CONVEYANCING – UPDATE
Electronic conveyancing has been operational in Tasmania for mortgages and discharge of mortgages since August 2024. In February 2025 it is planned for transfers of land to also become available via electronic conveyancing. Work towards this involving the Land Titles Office, State Revenue Office and the Electronic Lodgment Network Operator (ELNO) is ongoing and progressing.
In preparation for transfers of land via electronic conveyancing, you may wish to become a subscriber to an ELNO. The only ELNO currently operating in Tasmania is PEXA. You can register your interest with PEXA and locate information specifically related to PEXA’s operations in Tasmania using the following link
