SUBJECT: PRODUCTION OF TITLE – EXTENSION OF IRREVOCABLE PERIOD
If required, a request for extension of irrevocable period may be made.
Request extension of irrevocable period
A request to extend the irrevocable period relating to a production of certificate of title is to be made
- By the party who made the original request for production, and
- Via email to lto@nre.tas.gov.au
A request to extend the irrevocable period will be actioned within one business day of receipt of the request and will provide a further thirty (30) days irrevocable period from that actioned date. A new Production Slip Receipt will be provided via email to the party who made the extension request.
Further requests to extend the irrevocable period (in thirty (30) day periods) may be made to a maximum of the time a certificate of title is produced (the period of the Production Slip Receipt) – which is six months.
