About the Presenter:
Pip Monk is the principal lawyer and director of Monk Lawyers. Pip specialises in criminal defence and practices across the summary and indictable jurisdictions. Pip completed the Legal Practice Course in 2011 and began practice in South Australia before returning to Tasmania in 2013 and commencing at Legal Aid. Pip enjoys mentoring young practitioners, and has led the Court Duty Lawyer training for the past 2 years. Pip is the Chair of the Law Society of Tasmania's Criminal Law Committee and is a member of the Law Society of Tasmania Council.

About the Presenter:
Brittany Clark is a criminal defence lawyer who has been working for Tasmania Legal Aid since 2016. Brittany began her career in 2013 as the Associate to the Honourable Justice Robert Pearce, before moving to private practice at Worrall Lawyers in civil litigation. Since 2016, Brittany has represented some of Tasmania’s most vulnerable people, specialising initially in Youth Justice and Mental Health. Brittany has appeared as Counsel in numerous complex pleas, hearings and Supreme Court trials and in the Criminal Court of Appeal.
