From February 2025, law firms and licensed conveyancing firms in Tasmania will be able to complete sale and purchase transactions including stamp duty transactions with PEXA.
More specifically, this will include preparing and signing transfers, paying duties, finalising financial settlements, and lodging land transfer documents with the Land Titles Office.
If you are not yet registered with PEXA, we encourage you to complete your registration in preparation for February.
We are excited to be working with the Tasmanian government, most notably the Land Titles Office (LTO) and State Revenue Office (SRO), along with both local and national banks and practitioners to support Tasmania’s e-conveyancing transformation.
