NATIONAL AUSALERT TEST
The Federal Government has announced the nationwide testing of the AusAlert national warning system on Monday 27 July 2026 at 2:00pm. Information regarding this test is available here – National test | ausalert.
If you are appearing before the Court on the afternoon of 27 July please turn off your phone or switch it to aeroplane mode, in accordance with the advice provided on the AusAlert website, to ensure the alarm does not sound during proceedings. Please note, the advice from AusAlert is that mobile devices should be turned off, or in aeroplane mode, before the scheduled test time and left off for at least one hour.
